उस डोंगा  परी  रस  नाही  डोंगा  ।
काय भुललासी  वरलिया  रंगा ||
नदी  डोंगी  परी  तीर  नोहे  डोंगा  ।
काय  भुललासी  वरलिया  रंगा ||
चोखा डोंगा  परी  भाव  नोहे  डोंगा  ।
काय  भुललासी  वरलिया  रंगा ||

  2. Oos means sugarcane. Sugarcane might not be straight in shape, it might be crooked. But juice of sugarcane is always sweet in taste.

    Some times it happen that we just consider external appearance of person and make our opinion about that person. The opinion might be absolutely wrong so, always make opinion after completely understanding a person or things/situation as well.

    1. Dude, you took right moral but your translation is wrong.. donga means adorable/alluring. So the correct translation would be as below:

      The some sugarcane are adorable but may not be tasty. Why are getting fooled with the external appearance (of a person or a thing)
      The river is almighty but the riverside may not be. Don't get fooled by external appearance.
      Chokha (he is referring to himself) may be good but his thoughts are not pure.
      Don't go on with his external appearance.
